Awards Ceremony

The brief

Our client, a government ministry wanted to host an awards ceremony (Pan Pacific Hotel) designed to recognise and reward the pioneer generation of Singapore. They also expressed a wish to host the event in an nontraditional setup at a fun venue. It was also specified that some exciting entertainment was needed to break up the presentation of the awards.


  • Due to the nature of the venue and the time restrictions given for the event set up, actual event and strike key timings were essential throughout the event and not just the awards programme
  • The event space although very creative was very restricting in terms of space so we needed to be quite creative in our presentation and delivery of production

To add to the lineup Radio Personality Flying Dutchman was also appointed to host the award ceremony! It was also outlined by the client that they wanted some form of digital engagement throughout the event so a live Twitter feed was set up so updates in the form of videos and photos could be tweeted on a regular basis.
